Who we are @ S. Sigamoney & Associates

The firm was founded by Sharen Sigamoney in 2015. The firm is in its infancy but the legal experience within the firm is extensive. The firm offers a broad range of services ranging from property law; wills and estates; litigation; family law and labour law.

The firms attorneys and legal consultants have worked on various panels ranging from Clientele Legal, Legal Aid and the various South African bank panels. Our attorneys are familiar with the various courts in and around the greater Durban area.

Our Services

Criminal and Civil Litigation
With more than five years of litigation experience, our attorneys are equipped to handle bail applications, remands, trials and pleas. We are au fait with the processes in both the Magistrates and Regional Courts
Divorce and Family Law
Our firm deals with unopposed divorce matters on a regular basis. We enjoy an excellent rapport with the Sheriffs of the High Court as well as the Registrars of the Regional Court. This excellent working relationship allows us to deal expeditiously with all our matters.
Labour Law
We are able to assist our clients with conciliations and arbitrations. We further manage the Alternative Dispute Resolution portfolio for our corporate clients. We offer innovative solutions to our clients and ensure that they are always in compliance with the current employment law.
Domestic Violence/ Protection Orders
We assist our clients with their applications for protection orders as well as opposing applications on their behalf.
Wills and Estates
S Sigamoney & Associates attends to the winding up/ administration of estates. We offer our clients the option of drafting a free will with our firm as well.
Property Law
We advise and attend to the drafting of commercial and residential lease agreements. We attend to conventional transfers as well as transfers emanating from liquidations, auctions, court orders, divorces, donations, deceased and insolvent estates.
Debt Counselling
In the current economic climate, it is becoming increasingly difficult to give our loved ones the lifestyle they deserve. South Africans are sadly drowning in their increasing debt. Many feel there is just no way out.
